Don't Be Fooled By Fake Reviews - Physical Therapist Hinge Health Employee Review

This was one of my favorite jobs since earning my licensure. However, these recent reviews are all fake. Mid-June, it was announced that all member-facing individuals, specifically coaches and PTs, previously called the "Bread and Butter" of Hinge Health by the Founders, were reduced from full time salary to flex time hourly. This was just weeks after being told our jobs were safe from layoffs. It's clearly a power-move to ensure this company goes public at the expense of the "little guys." The CEO also recently mentioned that while he "could take a pay cut, it wouldn't help the company." What a laugh. For a company that values trust and transparency, this was a blow to the morale of the Clinical Team. I did everything asked of me and then some to help this company succeed because I value their product. Now, loyalty, experience, and metrics mean absolutely nothing. Even more so, they announced this Flex Time role, gave us 20 days to decide whether to stay or leave, and still have yet to share how this will work, making it nearly impossible to get a part time job to supplement income. We are losing mental health benefits, PTO benefits, and income. The chaos of start-up culture ensues. To read that they're still hiring coaches, PTs and onboarding specialists, while slashing talent and hours (and pausing compensation changes) - it simply doesn't make sense. It's great (and greatly tone deaf) to see that the Company continues to "win" customers. However, how are they going to onboard all these individuals when your employees are no longer valued? We, the individuals who built these products, have now been reduced so the boys from Amazon, Google, and others can make their high salaries. Don't trust this company. This should be completely evident by the several "positive reviews" that have buried the truth.
