Pros
You can bring your pet to work. There are some very conscientious employees here but they are scarce. The job duties were challenging for me and I enjoyed my specific job role. I felt challenged in my everyday duties and the day went by fast. I learned new things often.
Cons
This company has a very strange culture. If you don't like to participate in activities outside of work with your colleagues, this will not be the place for you. It's nice to become friendly with colleagues but it seems wrong that people are looked at differently because they don't participate in after work activities. This is a common practice at this company and it starts with the leadership, unfortunately. Let's talk a little about ethics and morals; they do not seem to exist here. It starts with leadership and trickles down to the rest. This company is participating in poor business practices and it's a shame that it happens on a consistent basis. You have no say in doing the right thing if you are not in the "click." My guess is that even if you are in the "click" (yes, it is like high school at this company), you will not have any success in doing what is morally correct. Production staff are paid poorly and overworked. There are too many long time employees here that are resistant to change and make poor decisions. The office is dingy and needs upgrading. Space is an issue for everyone.
