Pros
Family founded and owned company that has not succumbed to the corporate "woke mind virus". The work (when there was work) could be interesting.
Cons
Family founded and owned but not family run. The Hiller family is solid but none are in the executive ranks - preferring to work on the front lines. The president is insincere (prone to speaking of his employees as "family", yet treating them like the help that might steal his silverware when it's time for layoffs) and has an oversized ego (which he tries in vain to hide). The COO is the former Chief Bean Counter; in fact, his initials are B.C. and his name features the same number of syllables as "bean counter" (you can't make this stuff up). Business is dwindling, yet they have managed to double the number of execs in the last 6 months. Meanwhile, the rank and file are looking to get out.
