Pros
- Leadership truly do take time to listen. They care about team well-being and job satisfaction. - Plenty of ways to give thoughts/feedback, whether positive or constructive (e.g. engagement surveys, weekly 1:1s, straight after each training, and weekly team meetings). - Lots of variety and scope in day-to-day activities. Every day is a bit different, with new interesting things to work on. You are expected to deliver several training workshops to clients each week, while a good chunk of the remainder is spent building out internal processes/projects (e.g. writing marketing content; researching new training content; new business proposals, etc). As a result, you get lots of opportunities to take ownership, learn about business operations and ultimately make an impact.
Cons
There are few 'downsides' so long as you are self-driven, keen to grow, and enjoy presenting/training others. That said, it is a relatively young and small company at the moment - everyone pitches in with a bit of everything. If you're more early careers this is ideal as you get autonomy and exposure, though you won't find as many 'specialists' with a wealth of experience to upskill or mentor you.
