Understaffed! Leadership strictly cares about appearance and developing new things for the show of it when they haven’t ever figured out the other 1000 things they started. Existing staff struggles. Toxic positivity is company culture.

Add the company grows, it's falling victim to the inevitability of bureaucracy that hampers agility and growth.
Severly Understaffed HR Department - Necessary to work excessive hours - No work/life balance - Retailitory - No staff support for investigations into inappropriate behavior - Toxic cliques - Bullying - If you work remotely (outside of Grand Rapids and live outside the city), they still take the GR City NR tax out of your check when they shouldn't. Making it a hassle to get your money back from the city of GR. - They think executives are infallible and behaviors can never be questioned.
