Pros

Awesome to work with kids in such a fun environment! I loved all of the skills I learned, and really benefited from the training (though extremely long and taxing).

Cons

The work was never done. The people who work there like things done an extremely specific way, and do not like it when things are done differently. While I worked there, many people quit the job which puts a lot of pressure on the people who are still committed to the job. This means you are put on double shifts, and have to cover while there is already limited staff. The season is long, so burnout is honestly bound to happen.

Pros

A great community that provides tons of support throughout the year. You'll learn a ton about our planet, teaching, and teamwork.

Cons

It can be exhausting at times, especially when you have overtime shifts, but everyone there helps each other out as much as possible to make it through the week.

Pros

Beautiful area. Nice people. School schedule means consistent weekends and holidays. You will learn a lot of behavior management skills. You will grow to appreciate how much other jobs don't overwork you.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous especially for how much they pay you. 10 hours to 18 hours a day depending on the shift, assuming you aren't asked to do more. Management seems to believe strongly in work for the sake of work. God forbid you get sick working long stressful hours working alone with 12-16 children. If someone calls out you may very well have to spend over 72 hours straight at work and be expected to be on top of everything the entire time, there are many weeks they will ask you to do this without anyone calling out.
