Pros

I like that the QA department is clearly divided into manual and automation tracks. It allows you to really master your specific area rather than being a "jack of all trades" who can't go deep into either. Since it’s Fintech, you aren't just testing UI; you’re learning complex financial logic. It makes the manual side much more analytical and the automation side more challenging. Even though teams are separate, there’s no "us vs. them" mentality. Collaboration is smooth, and the leadership is very approachable. Good internal movement. If you're in manual and want to move toward automation (or vice versa), the path is there if you put in the work.

Cons

The wealth management domain is no joke. Expect to spend a lot of time in documentation during your first few months. During release cycles, the pace is very fast across both teams. You need to be someone who thrives under a bit of pressure.
