It was boring time passed slow

I had an amazing Store Manager to show me all the operations/duties that a Store Manager should carry out to help the progression of a high-end retail store. I was thrown into a position, with no previous experience, that allowed me to showcase my leadership skills by shaping the attitude of my sales team. These attitudes led to a positive environment that attracted the target audience we needed to consecutively nail our store plan.

The challenges working here included compensation and overall budget of the company. In compensation, they were not able to give me a raise for the duties I was made responsible for. As far as the company budget, I had to personally become our maintenance person when it came to the upkeep of the store in ways where other high-end retail stores had cleaning crews.
