Pros
Great product! The overall vision for the company has so much potential. Great benefits and pay.
Cons
As stated, the company has potential to be something great but falls short due to lack of protocol, communication issues, passive aggressive management, and cutting way too many corners. This is a start up company with less than 20 people working for them and has been in business for three years. They still have not registered with the FDA. This industry was all very new to me starting out. The first week working here, I wasn't trained on CGMP compliance by certified managers at all. Instead, another employee, who was my equal and not my manager, threw a handbook down in front of me and told me to have at it. I never got certified for CGMP, never taught what to say and what not to say to customers over the phone. I had to learn about our product, our company and how it's expected to fluctuate by myself. For the six months I worked here, I knew what was expected of me but never updated on change of standards and protocol. The lack of communication and structure in this company is relentless and caused so many mistakes to happen within multiple departments. Instead of management tackling these issues, they're adding onto them. For example, the entire company communicates via messenger and one gmail account which causes 100 different issues expected to be tackled all on the same thread by only three people. It is completely disorganized and causes much confusion within the day to day logistics operations. Company owners and managers claim to "welcome feedback" in order to help the company improve. It's a bald face lie. When myself and others told them (multiple times) what is wrong with the structure and feedback on how to improve what we were doing, we were met with a cold shoulder and rude, passive aggressive remarks. Overall, this is a great company to work for if you're looking for benefits and pay. Anything other than that, you're wasting your time. The owners of this company tell you that there's "room for growth" but that of course is a lie. They will tell you just about anything to get you to stay. I sincerely hope they improve before they create a revolving door.
