Pros

Clear procedures Inclusivity Remote work for a certain number of days Clean building

Cons

Below-average pay Raises are minimal and less than inflation rates Lacks contemporary benefits like early Fridays Most importantly, Hemmersbach is one of the few companies that chose to adhere to the new law where the break time does not count as working time. This results to 8.5-hour workdays. Although within the company's right's, it raises questions about Hemmersbach's commitment to employee Well-Being.

Dear former colleague, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We’re glad to hear you found our company organized and inclusive. And thank you for also mentioning our new modern office building which our Athens colleagues moved into this spring, which features (among other things) a spacious and well-furnished dining area, a free onsite fitness center, and a rooftop terrace for lounging as well as company events. At the same time, however, it’s unfortunate that you were not satisfied by the size of your salary increases. At Hemmersbach, every colleague’s salary is reviewed annually, and pay raises are based on performance. We encourage our colleagues to have an open and honest discussion with their direct supervisor regarding what performance targets would enable them to reach their compensation goals. We’re also sorry to hear you were unhappy with the length of your workday. It is true that in Greece our full-time workday consists of 8 paid working hours which is broken up by a half-hour break, but it is unfair to say that this constitutes a failure to prioritize the well-being of our colleagues. The fact is that we offer many benefits such as private health insurance, company events, and opportunities for mobile working which are focused on the well-being of our colleagues as well as enabling them to find a good work-life balance. And another reason why we have to disagree with this claim is that our colleagues in Greece have certified us as a Great Place to Work for two consecutive years now, and also this year as among the Best Workplaces in Tech. We appreciate your feedback, and if you have any further you would like to share with us, we invite you to contact us at EmployerRatings@Hemmersbach.com. Kind regards, Your HR Team

Pros

Have yet to find any.

Cons

No yearly raises, takes too long or forgets to remburse for transportation. Unusually high expectations yet doesn't give enough work to meet those expectations, very small amount of holidays off; and on the holidays you work, you might not get tickets anyway so you might as well just get a paid day off anyway. Performance review is complete nonsense. They do not judge you by how good you are, and they also pay you hourly for jobs that one would normally get hundreds; sometimes thousands for. Your experience doesn't matter, they are greedy and don't care about onsite technicians.
