Pros
Only pro is the ability to network with other professionals if you wish to pursue a career in a health care industry. You can form relationships because of the environment you operate in. The downside is HCSG makes you sign a contract stating you can never work with any other companies so you have to be sneaky when you look for other employment.
Cons
Horrible working hours. Even though you are told nights and weekends are not mandatory they expect you to work them without overtime pay ever being offered. Budgets are cut all the time and then you are expected to produce the same quality of work and the only way to do that is to do all the work yourself. There are NO pay increases and chances of promotion are slim to none at best. Although, they will lie to your face on a daily basis and tell you that "Something BIG is on the horizon so just keep working 100 hours a week because your definitely the next District Manager'...All lies so they can keep paying you crap money and never promoting you. No support from upper management. They do no work and constantly think of ways to cut budgets so they can make bonus every month, all the while still lying to your face. They literally make you lie to the customers about the hours you run so the customer has no idea they are being screwed over and if the customer gets wise to it they deny ever telling you to do so. its a nightmare to work for these pigs.
