Pros
If you don't have a family and or life other than work it can be a great place to start. How far up you want to move is up to you, but don't decide to tell them you don't want to move up any more or they will not be happy. Great resume' builder, the only problem is a lot of the skills learned are not going to transfer to other fields.
Cons
Long hours. Make half as much as peers that work for another company. You will be the whipping boy for every facility you enter. Not very many people at the facility level like HSG, all contracts are done at the corp level by people to far removed from operations to keep expectations at an reasonable level. The vision and dental are fantastic but that is where the benefits end other than a stock purchase program. The only company I have ever worked for that made you work on your vacation, when you actually get to go on vacation (better hope survey doesn't show up when your out of town because they will make you come back).
