- Without working in the office, there are some "water-cooler" conversations that I would have gotten working at another place.
- Before the pandemic, I would try to go into the office a few times, and when I went in, I tried to get a desk on the Robin system. I tried 4 different times reserving a desk, taking my stuff over to get started and then someone would say that, "so-and-so works at that desk." Finally I just asked everyone around which desk is NOT being used. I sat down at that desk and the monitors didn't have a cable and other hookups to conveniently hook my laptop up, so I worked from my laptop with one screen for a few hours and finally went home. This problem might not be an issue at the new building.
- I don't really know anyone else who works at the company beyond the maybe dozen or so people I work with on a regular basis.
- There is not really an opportunity to become friends with anyone.
