Pros

The benefits are very competitive and even though they cut them down in December they are still the best perks and benefits. There is also a very good internal L&D team.

Cons

- You’re just a number. After the Ginger / Headspace merge the focus shifted to an extreme need for “profitability” which makes sense as a business, it was just disappointing because as a mental health company you should be held to a higher standard. I wouldn’t recommend anyone joining. The last round of layoffs they did the absolute bare minimum legally required and it felt disturbing as a mental health company they just don’t care but do a good job of pretending they do. - The compensation practices are all over the place. - They have good perks like every other Friday off but you need to use that day to decompress and recover from being worked to the bone all the other days

Pros

-they offer great resources for members to utilize -continued education to sharpen your coaching skills

Cons

-there have been so many changes and expectations that are frustrating to navigate -they expect way too much for so little pay and no benefits -this role is so taxing on your own mental health... many of the members that you see aren't a good fit for coaching, so you're also filtering a lot of members for therapy and navigate really heavy mental health conversations that aren't within the scope of coaching -feedback isn't delivered live, it's all put in a spreadsheet that's clearly input by automation
