      Pros

      Amazing team, and inspiring mission. It is a company actually helps people.

      Cons

      Headspace has got all new management and it is changing the culture. What once a place that you feel like they really cared about your well being and mental health is starting to become your typical startup culture. There is a constant feeling of not doing enough while being drowned by work. There is a clear lack of empathy from upper management.

I certainly agree with your sentiments about the incredible team we have here at Headspace, but I am disheartened to hear that you do not feel supported by management. To support our mission, we have had to grow our team – and I understand that can lead to some growing pains.       Great coworkers and working with folks who truly care about their clients and want to prioritize the wellbeing of staff. --great flex time off --great care team leaders --good energy --remote working 4 days a week

      Pros

      - consistent pay - decent pay split (depending on degree and state of practice) - easy to fill caseload

      Cons

      - There has been a lot of instability in the company since the Ginger/Headspace merger. A lot of management has jumped ship, there's been a lot of layoffs, which included eliminating W2 therapist positions in favor of contractor positions to cut benefits, benefit cuts to remaining W2 employees, and more - While they're fairly hands-off, they are very strict about note documentation. It's important for insurance audits, but feels invasive with how frequent internal audits are done.
