Pros

Free pair of flip flops

Cons

Head office are awful- expect a lot and don't help at all. There are no rewards or praise for when something is achieved. Definitely one of the worst companies to work for.

Pros

-The company pays a large portion of health benefits - The entire US team is full of smart, capable, and kind people. The US President, Diane, is incredible. Unfortunately, the toxicity of Global leaks in and destroys something that has the potential to be great.

Cons

The company is led from its headquarters in Brazil, but there’s a disconnect when it comes to understanding North American business practices. Leadership in Brazil is resistant to listening to perspectives from outside their own culture, and there’s a noticeable lack of diversity and inclusivity in decision-making. Women and non-Brazilians often feel marginalized, with little opportunity for real influence. Frequent leadership changes, with new Presidents every two years and new CEOs every four, result in constantly shifting goals and strategies, making it difficult to achieve long-term progress. There are no bonuses because of this. The new CEO is seen as arrogant and unapproachable, with a reputation for ignoring employees at lower levels, constant layoffs, and being discriminatory towards Americans. Similarly, the head of Global Marketing is known for her disrespectful style that most find demoralizing. Due to her close relationship with the CEO, employees in Brazil and the US are terrified to speak up because nothing is ever done. Overall, the morale is low in North America due to the constant layoffs initiated by Global HQ. The company will unfortunately never make progress towards profitability because Global Leadership will not put their egos aside to explore innovative solutions to be successful in other countries besides Brazil.
