The on-boarding process could be better streamlined with a set schedule or check list of what should be discussed, completed, or taken care of in the first week. My experience was people seemed a bit scattered and unsure of where to point me so I could get my questions answered (like taking care of my I-9 or how do I contact HR). The number of employee portals you have to use can be somewhat overwhelming and generally confusing. The Workday portal used for general on-boarding things (like setting up 401k) is somewhat unhelpful and could use a users guide or something.
