Pros

You made commission off every warranty and membership sold i had very nice coworkers those are the only pros

Cons

management put so much pressure to sell warranties, when you could only try so hard. I'm sorry but the tools there are cheap most people didn't see the need for the warranty all the cons at my store had to deal with management. They were rude and had no respect for employees. They would scream at us over our headset when i was clearly busy with customers, i eventually would take it off halfway through the shift. By far the worst job I experienced, however it could be different for other harbor freight locations because my issues all had to do with management.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
