Pros
flexible schedule & you can work anywhere but that's because you are independent contractor
Cons
Just a headsup this is not full-time role, it's an independent contractor position which means they can let you go at any time. One day you're in, the next you're out, no heads-up, no conversation.
The people who’ve been there the longest and are close to the CEO make all the decisions. It’s not the flat culture they describe. It’s top-down decision-making. If you’re not in that circle, you’re left in the dark. Communication is unclear, and you’re never really sure where things stand. Also, you’ll see toxic positivity that looks like a cult to the CEO, and leaders get promoted just because they’ve been there a long time, not based on capability. Good luck working with these people.
Most importantly, it’s not worth your time to work somewhere that treats you like a tool. Once they think you’ve served your purpose, they’ll drop you just like that. Don’t waste your time and find somewhere that values you with respect.
