Pros

Benefits include fully covered health insurance which is great. Conveniently located off the highway, and there is plenty of parking.

Cons

Employee moral is very low. There is no company culture and employees feed off of each others negativity. Passive aggressive management styles leave employees with little direction. Employees receive no training and inconsistent feedback. There is no sense of team and no leadership. It often feels as if the company is floundering or failing, and the turnover rate is reminiscent of a revolving door. The disorganization is such that employees must remind management to perform annual reviews, or to plan for the largest trade show of the year. Employee’s with original opinions or with the audacity to disagree with management and support their opinions with facts and research are often left out of important meetings. Management prefers employees who don’t rock the boat or advocate for progress, just nod, smile, and laugh at her jokes if you’d like to advance. Office is old, dirty and poorly maintained.

Pros

Hantover has a good reputation for service to its customers and employees. It makes you feel like it is your own company, and there are no options less than the best. They have an All-around knowledgeable staff, willing to help as long as you're eager to learn. Management teams work hard to assist their employees with scheduling flexibility for time off and family emergencies.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Health insurance was about the only positive aspect of my experience.

Cons

Constant understaffing and employee turnover. Despite the increased workload year after year Hantover managed to never give me an increase in pay rather that be based off workload/performance or even a cost of living raise. Needless to say the company culture is atrocious. I don’t think anyone there feels valued. Just there to be paid less than their worth so company ownership can profit. It’s a small company too so growth opportunities are very limited. When an opportunity does present itself Hantover typically makes an unqualified outside hire instead of promoting a qualified employee from within.
