Pros
Great people, free product (sometimes), opportunity to learn from coworkers, access to various creative tools and packaging machinery, VIA library is a cool resource that nobody else has access to
Cons
Employees must sign a non compete upon hiring, they must clock in and out every day (even for lunch), hours are very inflexible, rare performance or compensation reviews, no dedication to employee retention because every employee is looked at as replaceable and insignificant, lower than market salaries for most positions, little opportunity for career advancement and even discouragement if ultimate career goals are not within Haney. Profab employees are treated the worst by far; frequent last minute overtime, lockers for personal items, very little (informal) training and low salaries all make what should be a fun job, unbearable. Not to mention the often mandated fulfillment which requires standing for 8 hours, completing mundane assembly line tasks, wearing hairnet/gloves/gown for 8 hours, managing or working alongside unruly temporary employees, and following a shift style schedule of two 10 min breaks and one 1/2 hour lunch in the entire 8 hour day.
