Pros

Close to home, some people are friendly & care about their work.

Cons

One of the most unethical companies I've ever worked for and my career. Many employees have been there more than 20 years, favoritism is huge and Hamilton Co. They allow employees to be related to one another, which allows the favoritism. The atmosphere at Hamilton company in like walking into a morgue. The language of the employees is foul, they do not listen or except new ideas, and if you challenge them to better their processes, they look down upon you with much arrogance and act as though they were really tried everything and nothing ever worked or got approved by upper management. You're not going to hear a "thank you" from management at Hamilton Co. The maturity level of the employees is probably around the eighth grade. Mainly in the production control area. Big company, many employees, I'm just sharing my experience who have served my country. The language of some of the employees and the negativity of some of their attitudes or something I've never experienced in my entire career. Some employees enjoyed seeing other employees be disciplined, and they tend to immediately run everything to human resources if they have a problem versus working it out amongst management or supervision because they all know one another for so long. The computer systems are archaic, they're still using an MRP system built and eight 1980s. The work environment is very loud, a lot of talking personal, complaining, just overall negativity. Seven ploys talk down about their customers, which to me is extremely unprofessional and immature. They put you on salary and yet they just keep track of your time by punching in and punching out using a card reader when you go in and out of the building and human resources keeps track of your time. If you're one minute late to work, you will hear about it. If you leave two minutes early and yet scripture lunch, you're going to hear about it on your review. Management manage just through intimidation, fear, and absolutely do not respect their employees whatsoever.
