Worst of the worst places to work - Care Manager Hamaspik Choice Employee Review

Pros

I honestly can’t think of one.

Cons

Everything. From the workload to the supervisors to Human Resources. Certain “people” have certain rights and it’s very obvious. No one is happy and people literally quit from One day to the next with no notice, that’s how unhappy their staff is. There is no fairness, you’re policed and there’s a feeling of being constantly monitored.

Pros

Supportive leadership, positive culture, and meaningful work helping elderly and disabled members receive medical supplies quickly and correctly. Strong teamwork across departments and management that truly values employees who work hard and care about members. Great opportunity to learn healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, authorizations, and DME operations hands on. The company serves many communities and bilingual employees are highly valued. I’ve experienced tremendous professional growth here and feel trusted and respected by leadership. Fast paced environment with real purpose behind the work you do every day. Co workers are kind, patient, and always willing to help each other succeed. Excellent place for people who genuinely want to make a difference in healthcare while building a long term career. -Tony

Cons

The workload can become very busy at times because the company is growing quickly and demand is high. Some processes and systems could be streamlined further to improve workflow efficiency between departments. Like any fast paced healthcare environment, prioritization and multitasking are important skills to succeed.

Pros

A really great way to understand how Medicaid and Medicare work and how many chronically ill patients can't get the Home Care hours they want.

Cons

You'll feel highly stressed every month, without time to finish all the monthly calls and attend to every task that they throw at Care Managers.
