Pros

Had nice colleagues in the team, literally the only reason why I survived and pulled through during my short stint there.

Cons

Too much to say about the cons. When I was working there, there were so many people who were already leaving during my short span of time spent there. That itself is a red flag. There was also constant micromanagement from the director. Everything I did was not good enough in her eyes. Granted, I may have been inexperienced but there's a difference between constructive feedback and wanting to do it your way based on feeling only. You are not always right. When suggestions and ideas are given, don't take it as a sign that we are always wrong. Also, I find it so weird that someone without much background in the stuff my team was part of can be put in charge. Most of the reviews here are valid.

Pros

The company provides a good platform for professional growth and skill development. I've had the chance to work with some amazing colleagues who have been supportive and collaborative. However, like any workplace, there are challenges, including occasional office politics. One valuable takeaway has been the ability to cultivate patience and resilience in navigating different interpersonal dynamics. If you're looking for a role where you can grow professionally and learn adaptability, this is a good environment to consider.

Cons

Management could benefit from better communication and transparency. Decision-making processes often feel unclear, and there's room for improvement in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. While the environment can be challenging, it’s a good learning experience for those who want to develop resilience and professional skills.

Pros

you get to draw for a job. your group mates are your work buddies, they are in the same boat as you so no politics play. Pay is good only if you know how to negotiate your way.

Cons

you take directions from people that did not come from the same field, ie, Art director that has no industry experience. art director has a " you are either with me or against me" attitude when it comes to asking for opinions. The company always says look after your mental and physical health but if you take too many sick leaves or if you cant work as fast as you used to due to deteriorating health(back and hand strain or just having bad mental health days) you will be labeled as lazy. if you are the slowest in you team, upper management will see it as a skill set issue and try to find ways to make you work faster, even though its a labour intensive job and everyone does the same thing, that is to draw and animate.
