Pros

Hub International has many great employees and I've been lucky enough to develop some good friends while working there. Also, they are willing to work with you on creating a career path and allowing you to work towards your goals. This company has seen a lot of change over the last few years and I am hopeful that it is for the better. They treat their employees with respect and value their opinions. Also, management is working on improving their communication and I have seen positive changes. As with any company, job satisfaction is often dependent on having a good direct supervisor and I for one have been lucky to have a great manager over the last year.

Cons

I would say the biggest downside is that Hub doesn't necessarily pay their employees what they are worth. Based on research I have done, they are on the lower end of the pay scale. While Hub does many things to make their employees feel valued, they need to realize that people work to make money. In the workplace the best way to show someone that they are valued by the company is to pay them accordingly. Also, they expect a lot out of their employees. As with many companies, they have been cutting staff and therefore the workload can be heavy. Also, management often has big ideas, but struggles to put them into practice. Their ideas may sound good on paper, but don't always come to fruition and when they do, it is often a very slow process..

Pros

Mostly a remote working environment, though I believe that's changing.

Cons

Executive-level management is a joke. There's favoritism all over the place, and the minute you cross one specific Executive Vice President in TechOps, your career is over.
