Pros
One of the best locations to work I can think of, being right next to Niseko ski area. If you love snow, outdoors, and especially skiing and snowboarding, coming here for some time is essential. Also, can be fairly flexible and the seasonality of work might mean you can just work during the winter or summer (as a seasonal worker), if you can't do a full time job.
Cons
The hours can be pretty long at times, if you work in guest facing jobs. Also, it is a bit tough to get much in the way of a raise, even if you do take on more responsibility. Low wages, though very livable considering the low rent on apartments in Kutchan. Would be nice if it were enough to live comfortably in the upper village, near the offices and hotels.
