Pros
Great co-workers - I'm still friends with many of the people I worked with at HNTB. Focus on involvement with professional organizations was excellent and the company was supportive of employees in being involved in the engineering community. Opportunities to work on interesting projects and many of the largest infrastructure projects in the area.
Cons
Not much in terms of upward mobility or flexibility to move around the company. It would be a good fit for someone looking for a stable and predictable job but not looking for upward mobility, or someone who is more concerned with the content of the projects they're working on and not so much with career advancement. I felt that I reached a level where I was capable of doing more than I was being given, and there weren't many options for moving to a role with more responsibility.
