Pros
HNTB has some fantastic people around the nation who are passionate about transportation and infrastructure. Competitive compensation and opportunities for advancement.
Cons
Definitely a company struggling with the changes in the marketplace. In many ways, it still is structured like an antiquated geography-based partnership with political infighting between offices stifling growth and raising costs. Strategically the company is 30 years behind and is really controlled by a single individual. Incredibly risk-averse contractually, to the point that it is damaging them in the marketplace compared to other more sophisticated competitors.
