Pros
The reason I stay at HNTB is because I get to work with great people and work on exciting projects. Also, unlike most engineering firms that operate on a salary-only basis, HNTB actually pays you overtime when you work more than your 40 hours in a week. This i really feel gives you a tangible incentive to work even harder than you would otherwise.
Cons
One of the issues I have always had with HNTB is the fact they have rather uncentralized leadership. I technically work in the headquarters location but much of the management is spread throughout the county at various offices. I really think HNTB would benefit from locating all of its management to the current headquarters location to create a stronger centralized cultture.
