      Pros

      The best part about working at HMD Transport is that you are part of a family. This company hires people that they trust, hard workers that will grind and hustle, people who care about other people, team players that will do what's best for the group as a whole. You can see the pride that the management team takes in the staff every day. They take the time to meet with you, follow up on how things are going, when they know that you are having a hard day they will text you to see how you are doing-they truly care. I have never been able to find that in another work place and I'm grateful to have a home.

      The company is still small and growing. You can make an impact and be known for your work ethic.

      If you work in the 3PL world, you know that most of these smaller places have a pump and dump philosophy when it comes to building their business for the sole purpose of selling it off in a quick turnaround. HMD doesn't carry this philosophy and it creates an environment of people who are very serious and determined to succeed(because they don't hire everyone who walks through the door). Also, most places just say they have a family atmosphere to the point where you just think its a total load... but not this place. Family is a real thing here, You will be very close with everyone. The combination of the atmosphere and the work ethic make HMD hands down he best freight brokerage to work at. If you like freight brokerages but have a desire to be at one that is more professional, this is the place for you.
