Pros
Above average employment conditions, annual leave, compensation, company's pension plan etc. Nice office building with all amenities like underground parking, gym, etc. Autonomy and trust from the managers. It's the headquarters where one's voice and expertise are listened to and respected. Plenty of interesting projects from the entire spectrum of the GIS domain.
Cons
Only mobile/embedded development, they have no clue how to make anything web related. Death march, dead end projects. One might find itself the last person working on "a project", meanwhile the requirements and feature requests will keep coming. I guess, this is the way of saying "project is obsolete and you need to leave" because I'd only heard about internal mobility but hadn't experienced it. Impossible to hire new engineers in recent years, only new ones had been defined-term low paid contractors, and student interns.
