Pay isn’t the best, there’s a standard rate for each position regardless of where you live. I also noticed that people were promoted rather quickly and the company was hiring awfully fast, but there was never an announcement of job vacancies or any opportunity for internal team members to apply to open positions. In a very short period of time, there were a lot of changes which no adjustment or training period and onboarding is pretty much nonexistent. HR is also not the best with following up on inquiries or with handling tough conversations (the HR personnel nearly cried when she was asked about the new merit increase process during a staff call). The company seems to be going in a more metrics-driven direction which is no longer aligned with my work environment goals. I’ve also observed that leadership does not respond well to feedback (when we ask for clarification on things or express ideas, we are frequently shut down or ignored). Clients are awesome but can be unpredictable and, due to the current economic climate, we’ve felt the brunt of client contract cancellations and non-renewals but leadership tries to keep it hush.
