Pros
The people who work there.
Cons
HBK is one of the most hypocritical companies I've worked with. The CEO and senior leadership team is weak and incompetent, at best. They talk about how great it is to work there and how there are so many career opportunities. Many employees take on new responsibilities with the promise of more money or a promotion in 6 months or during their annual review. It never happens. There is always an excuse for why the promotion or raise cannot be given. It's unprofessional to set those expectations with employees who work really hard, only to find there is no reward as promised. The sector leads are really the ones who run the business but even they are limited in what they can do for employees because they do not have authority to give raises or promotions and they also don't have access to some of the basic information most people at their level have in order to run and manage employees. HBK has had a mass exodus of employees over the past couple of years - everyone who left has had the same experience. The hire mostly from Iowa or the CEO's golf caddies, pay the very minimal and work them ragged. Same with the rest of the staff. If you do have experience, they do not pay competitively. Success early on in the company has gone to entire management teams heads, they are ego maniacs and don't care about employees. They are like a high-school click, if you weren't part of the original team from 15+ years ago, you are just a number in payroll.
