There seemed to be a lot of technology issues. The phone system was antiquated and unreliable. Software problems were prevalent.
More important than the tech challenges, I felt the company was overly-focused on profit. Yes, it's a for-profit enterprise, but there comes a point where the emphasis on money-making is too evident. Base pay for tax preparers was pitiful, yet the charges to the customer often seemed unreasonably high. Where's all the money going?
