Pros

Guidepoint's European operation, although growing quickly, had mantained a close-knit feel up to the day I left. Each person is an individual and personal inclination and personality traits are recognised. If people are seen to be giving their all, they will be supported and trusted by management, in what I think is a fair exchange. It is quite possible to stand out for performance (and likewise, for slacking off!). Working hours are absolutely decent for the industry and pay. Management has an open-door policy and rewards honesty and hard work.

Cons

It is a very small industry, so job prospects after Guidepoint need to be carefully evaluated and chosen. Several relevant skills can be developed on this job but they need to be well-framed to be relevant for a role in a different industry.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
