Cons
Guidepoint Mumbai has become one of the most toxic workplaces I have experienced. Since the restructuring, the culture has deteriorated significantly, employee morale has collapsed, and attrition has surged. Leadership appears completely disconnected from the realities of the India business, with an excessive focus on short-term targets at the expense of long-term growth, employee development, and business sustainability. There is a glaring absence of strong local leadership, and HR seems largely ineffective in addressing employee concerns or influencing meaningful decisions. The culture is heavily driven by politics, favoritism, and unequal opportunities. Account distribution and career progression often feel far from merit-based, creating widespread frustration across teams. Employees are expected to deliver results under constant pressure with minimal support, recognition, or strategic direction. High turnover, poor communication, questionable leadership decisions, and a lack of accountability have created an environment that is increasingly difficult to work in. Overall, Guidepoint Mumbai feels like a company struggling with leadership, culture, and employee trust. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it to professionals looking for a stable, transparent, merit-driven, and growth-oriented workplace.
