A veterinary support role that feels like nonstop punishment - Customer Service Representative GuardianVets Employee Review

Pros

Helping pet owners in tough moments could feel meaningful.

Cons

I was chained to a headset for endless shifts, juggling calls from desperate clients with little training and no real support. The workload was brutal, the tools barely functioned, and I was blamed for every delay or mistake that came from the broken system. Schedules were unforgiving, and I often felt like my personal life didn’t exist anymore. What should’ve been an empathetic role turned into pure emotional exhaustion — all stress, no balance, no recognition. I left drained and bitter, realizing that compassion was just a marketing line here, not a reality.

Pros

Flexible schedule, good pay considering I get to work from the comfort of my own home in my pajamas. There have been a lot of changes recently that decreased the amount of work I had to do, it was confusing at first but the coaches were there to help me when I needed it. My husband got transferred and I got a different job with another company that was the only reason I left.

Cons

There are a lot of changes that help improve how we work, but sometimes they were put into action with very little time to adapt

Cons

You can feel isolated with remote work, but being at home is great.
