Pros

The opportunities presented far outweigh any other review listed. I have been with the company going on 5+ years now and stand by the company, their mission and what they are trying to achieve when it comes to maximizing human potential. The company and its leaders strive to make a positive impact whether that's through career growth, development opportunities, mutually beneficial partnerships and/or offering innovative solutions. The owners of the company value their employees and truly have created a family like feel. While working at GPS, I have been presented both opportunities and challenges however, have always viewed these experiences as rewarding. I have grown exponentially both personally and professionally and look forward to one day retiring from Guardian Premier Solutions.

Cons

To be transparent, yes we have struggled with management in the past. With us being a smaller company, learning and growing from mistakes is an essential part of progression. I would say within the last couple of years, we have been fortunate enough to obtain top talent that exhibits great leadership, works well together and makes decisions with the employee's success at the forefront of what we do.

Pros

Pros: 1. If you are working in the San Antonio location, the team is a lot of fun. You need to have a sense of humor to have a good time. This is a fully in person job but I honestly had so much fun with everyone. 2. This is a great first job out of school or stepping stone job. 3. The work and industry is meaningful. You won’t find much public information online but you can ask more about it during your interview process.

Cons

It’s going to seem like it’s a lot of cons but it’s really just transparency. There are a lot of angry reviews here. I did not have a negative experience. Cons. 1. If you’re looking to grow as a software developer or data analyst and have technical mentorship, this is not the place to be unless you are chosen for one very specialized team. You need to self study, work on personal projects, etc if you ever want to pivot out of this job. 2. This is a small company so the benefits are not going to be exceptional. PTO allowance is also pretty bad. 3. As other reviews stated, you will be asked to sign documents. Read the other reviews for more details. Make sure to ask for more information about documents/agreements, PTO, and benefits before your interview. Many people will not be comfortable with signing these agreements and you don’t want to waste your time interviewing in that case. 4. During my time working here, management was not open to hybrid or WFH days. If this is important to you then GPS is probably not a good match.
