Guardian Credit Union (WI) Response
7yThank you for expressing your frustrations. Every organization has strengths and weaknesses, and we have overcome quite a few changes in the past couple of years to ensure that our organization can continue to grow within the community. Whether it is at Guardian CU or elsewhere a President/CEO cannot take all of the fault for everything, though that is where a lot of people tend to look. A CEO should rely on their management team at hand to come to a collective decision as a whole executive team, and provide direction if needed. Being President/CEO is not an easy feat, but our current CEO goes above and beyond to over communicate with his management team and staff, as well as make an effort to be present in all 6 of our branches. It is something that he thinks is very important- having a presence and getting to know employees of the company. We can always learn from past mistakes, and yes move forward to correct them. Some of those mistakes, however, cannot be corrected overnight. We have already taken corrective measures and continue to actively work to improve and prevent past occurrences from happening again in the future. Again, we are saddened to hear about your frustrations and appreciate your feedback. We wish this was something you discussed with us while you were with Guardian. That is in fact the beauty of working for a smaller organization, as you have a greater chance of having your voice heard. You just have to raise your hand and be a part of various committees, etc. to help shape the organization. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors.
