Cons
During my time with the company, I encountered several challenges that impacted my experience. The CEO has a strict approach to mistakes, emphasizing that they are unacceptable, which can create a high-pressure work environment. I received feedback about my communication style that felt more critical than helpful. Onboarding was minimal, consisting of a few calls with dense information, making it difficult to grasp everything needed to perform effectively. Additionally, there was a culture where asking clarifying questions was discouraged, and I was advised against repeating questions, which hindered my learning process.
I was also asked to purchase new equipment, like headphones, based on feedback that my initial set was inadequate. After buying new ones, I received similar feedback and was not fully reimbursed for the purchase. Moreover, I had to install several tracking applications on my personal laptop, as company equipment was only provided after a three-month probation period. There were concerns regarding delayed payments, which required follow-up to be resolved.
The feedback I received about my language skills was unexpected, considering I had two interviews before being hired where my skills were not flagged as an issue. These experiences, coupled with delays in payment and a lack of supportive feedback, made the work environment challenging.
