Pros

I loved working with Group1 because there is literally so many job opportunities. You can work at a dealer being a cashier and move up to be anything! A service advisor or even work in accounting or go corporate.

Cons

Some departments have extremely high turn over due to poor or unfair management, poor training, short staff and people in positions not actually having experience in the department their over. I worked very hard and held several titles, but I ate a lot of crow and have been crossed by supervisors making empty promises of raises or promotion. Their call center prides itself on being unique, but their quality control are Nazis and the script is heavily enforced and scrutinized and constantly changes. They like to spit hairs when grading your calls.

Cons

The workplace culture has deteriorated significantly over the past few years. What was once an organization employees were proud to be part of has become an environment where morale is consistently low and many employees feel disengaged and dissatisfied. The changes in leadership and culture have had a noticeable negative impact on the overall employee experience. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective employees to avoid at all cost.
