      Junior supervisors Milestone due dates Academic support staff Location and public and private (bus) transport connections to it Lots of work opportunities: projects, teaching assistant, grader, etc

      Cons

      Head of school School culture - I am a fan of hybrid work, but here it seems a lot of staff are never at work Strong push for publications over thesis development Most of my supervisors had little to no involvement in my work Milestone reports and examinations took a long time to get back Administration was unclear to my supervisors

      Pros

      Great boss, good work environment, very interesting projects to work on. I would have stayed on longer if it were not for the shortage or research funding in the country.

      Cons

      Still some left-over of the old-boys network with the glass ceiling and all. It was time for some new leadership and fire some people that didn't play well with others.
