While upper management holds virtual meetings from the comfort of their homes, the property teams are instructed to continue to work a full 8 hour day. Greystar has done absolutely nothing for their employees in the front line. Leasing centers and community amenities have closed. No accommodations for those workers who are at high risk of contracting the virus and falling ill, despite advanced age or pre-existing medical conditions. Many of us who work at greystar have children at home who don't understand what's currently happening. Greystar claims to be an industry leader and has failed to prove so during COVID-19. Many friends who work in other management companies have received extended emergency leave and also limiting hours on site, but not reducing compensation. While Greystar expects you to use your own time that has been accumulated over time. It doesn't get any clearer that things here are about money only. Beyond disappointed with Greystar.
