Pros

Majority are young engineers. Which leads to: - Good department culture - Proactive - Initiative to learn and commit - Cross department collaboration - Down to Earth team members - Lots of team building with own expenses - Private department badminton session every Thursday :)

Cons

There’s a lot. Most of them are within the company's core values. - Backstabbing (Seniors) - You may not get the full credit although you the executed the job - Lots of studying (Back to university lifestyle) - No hands-on projects. It’s all RFQ. - Admin job (calling vendors/customers, providing quotation, searching parts online) - Test engineers need other skills to fully solve the project (Mech, Electrical, and Software) - Boring job - No transferable skill - No guidance as Seniors doesn’t like to lead but love to command - Bad management - Positions are overrated. E2- E3 always need E1 for help as they don’t understand what customers really need. - E1 doing management job. - Many more to go.

Pros

Provides good exposure to automation and machine-building projects, especially for engineers who want to gain hands-on experience in design, assembly, commissioning, and customer support. The company has a strong presence in the automation industry and offers opportunities to work on challenging projects with global customers. Colleagues are generally supportive, and employees can learn a wide range of technical and project management skills.

Cons

Workload can be demanding during peak project periods, and overtime may be required to meet customer delivery schedules. Career progression and compensation growth may vary depending on department and business conditions. Communication and resource planning could be improved to reduce project pressure and improve work-life balance.
