Pros

I love working with the public and socializing. I also like to work with my hands and be creative, making people feel better about themselves.

Cons

the manager is a very rude demanding control freak that show her employees no respect at all, I have also been in the industry for 26 years and unfortunately have just had my 7th surgery on my feet. the different schedule every week causes some problems at times as well

Pros

Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

Cons

Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
