Pros
The environment is fast-paced and driven by efficiency. I've worked at all 7 locations in my city and each one is run well and by a caring franchisee. The stores are closed on most major holidays and don't stay open too late. The pay is great! There are a lot of opportunities for advancement and lots of bonuses/commission/incentive to be made.
Cons
Required to work on weekends, required to be able to close. Open on some holidays. You can get in trouble for "redos" (meaning when a customer comes back after you've cut their hair) even if its something as stupid as the customer decided to go shorter.
