Pros
Selling to the government means that your clients/prospects will always need these tools and Granicus is a well known brand in the industry. The work is also relatively easy compared to other sales jobs.
Cons
Granicus won't pay you what you're worth. They pay below average for their markets and the CEO doesn't believe in raises more than 5% for internal promotions. It's a major internal issue that causes an aggressive amount of turnover. Additionally, HR is a joke. Sexual harassment runs rampant in the sales team and there's no clear action from HR or C-Suite leadership to stop it. Sales Managers enable it as well. Overall if you're fine with a boy's club then this is the place for you, but don't expect to go through the week without at least one comment on your body and stay sober during work events.
