Pros

Coworkers (other advisors) are pleasant. There is a nice work-life balance. Located just outside of Boston. Convenient.

Cons

Execs seem to change the entire business model every month. Very disconnected from the firm's daily practices. Currently outsourcing certain departments.

Pros

Great Working environment. Real open door policy. Opportunities to articulate ideas, try them out and finally get rewarded for them. Very involved and empathetic executive management team

Cons

Due to small office, politics affect almost all opportunities for growth and involvement. Not very involved in diversity recruitment.

Pros

They have the charm of attracting bright people to work for them.

Cons

Those bright people quit in about a year time because the CEO shuts down projects he claims to be very passionate about without warning, after making those people work for 60+ hours a week towards those projects. This place claims to be not political but it actually is very much so. The leadership tends to go in all sorts of directions. The departments fight with each other and most of this company is outsourced at this point. Everyone is afraid of looking bad and being reprehended/fired. Saving money is the key objective of this company and long hours goes without saying. They want to do everything without much process never mind methodology which never existed.
