Pros
The team you're with will be the most galvanized, stress-tested group of determined people who have your back.
Cons
Absolute clown-show of an organization that thinks the answer to fixing their broken processes is to do more of the broken processes, faster. You will be expected to put in 10 hour days. You will be expected to take on tasks beyond your comfort and scope of role. You will be expected to make up for everyone else's mistakes, and any suggestions for improvement will be met with derision, condescension, and a dismissive attitude. You will be reassured that they encourage feedback, are open to change, and that a role of leadership means you get to influence policy. None of this is true. Politics play heavy here. Your mistakes will be dragged out and paraded in conference rooms. You will be condemned and berated until you give up trying to improve the place for your team and look for a job elsewhere.
