Pros
Very inefficient company so lots of paid freetime sitting in the work truck.
Cons
First and foremost, the lack of supervision and accountability at Gold Star FS is appalling. Supervisors frequently disappeared without notice, leaving untrained employees to fend for themselves for the remainder of the day. This not only compromised productivity but also jeopardized the safety of everyone on site.
Furthermore, I was shocked and disgusted by the casual use of racial slurs, including the n-word, by both employees and supervisors. Such language has no place in any workplace and creates a toxic and hostile environment for all employees.
Finally, safety concerns at Gold Star FS are rampant and deeply troubling. The anhydrous ammonia equipment is in a deplorable state, with constant leaks at the valves and stem connectors. This poses a serious risk to the health and safety of employees and the surrounding community. Additionally, new employees are instructed to violate their safety training, putting themselves and others at even greater risk.
